MY PROCESS
1. BRIEF
After we meet and decide it’s meant to be, we’ll lock in a topic and chat about the details. I’ll send you a quick copy brief so you know exactly what I’ll be working on.
2. RESEARCH
Here’s where I nerd out. (Don’t tell anyone, but it’s my favorite part!) I’ll check out ranking content, dig into primary sources, and find a unique angle for our piece.
3. WRITE
Once I’ve researched to my heart’s content, I get to typing. I always start with an outline, because what kind of professional writer would I be if I didn’t?
4. EDIT
You’ll receive the work in Google Docs or your content management system (I’m flexible). You get 2 rounds of edits, although my clients hardly ever use them.

How soon will I receive the work?
I can write your typical health and fitness article (about 1,000 words) in 1 day. For long-form content, I pencil in an extra day or 2. I’ve never missed a deadline and often submit work ahead of time.
Do you write other types of content?
Blogs and articles are my bread and butter, but I’ve been known to write the occasional email or ebook. Let me know what you have in mind, and I’ll tell you if I’m game.
What’s the investment?
I charge by the project, so you always know the full investment before you sign on the dotted line. The price depends on the scope of our project, which we’ll confirm on our first call.
Do you do SEO?
As a writer, yes. As an SEO strategist, no. I’ll help you lock in key search terms and write the metatext, but I leave the super-secret technical stuff to the pros.
I hate emails. Can I call you instead?
Same. I’ll always be down to jump on a call to answer a question or go over edits.
